+ works well and holds my laptop, Lenovo 15inch+ the stand feature is great. I use it to hold my wireless keyboard when not used. So its like 2in1.- the whole item is plastic and lightweight. I expected it to be heavier and more sturdy- it should have been wider as well for more stability, especially for 17inch laptops.
This laptop holder does what it says on the tin. You drop the laptop in and it grabs and stabilises the entire thing and then when you’re finished you can lift and go, there is no friction or anything to stop you picking up your laptop. It has a slightly wider base to give it stability so there’s no worry about it falling over. However, that does take up a little bit more desk space than I would have liked, hence the reduction from five stars to four. It has a couple of grooves at the bottom, which actually work out really nicely for holding your phone or pens or other things, this has ultimately been a great addition to the homeworking setup to create more space on the desk for more important things like large and monitors or double monitors.
I like this laptop stand, it’s got a real nice look about it, and the pinching mechanism is smooth and satisfying to use.Popping a laptop, or even a tablet into it is super easy, and getting it out is just as easy too. I’ve found it’s a great desk space saver. Not only is it handy just for storage, but i you work using a Hub/Dock like I do, it really improves the way I work. I just pop it in, plug in the USB C, and that’s it, the laptop is out the way but working on my external display.I’ve tested it with a few devices. A 14 inch chromebook, 13 inch notebook, and 15 inch Alienware gaming laptop. It can hold them all, however with the Alienware laptop it sits a bit squint unless I’m super careful with getting it perfectly centred. This is due to the weight of the machine, which If memory serves is about 3KG.I’d be happy to recommend it, but if you’re using a gaming laptop, or something similarly heavy like the one I described, it’s maybe not the most optimal way to sit your machine.
Very clever bit of design here. This vertical stand will work with a wide range of laptops and tablets due to the large jaws which automatically close around whatever device you place in there. The base of the stand also has two scooped edges which act as a way to hold tablets own an angle for viewing or even to lean other things like cases against the laptop in the centre of the stand for better storage of items aware from your desk surface. Neat. Only wish is for it to be metal rather than white plastic which always feels a bit cheap
