And the battery life is a little bit shorter than the headphones above, it’s 20 hours. But consider the price of this Mpow headphone, it’s still a good choice if you have low budget.

Passive noise reduction V.S Active noice canceling

By researching many different headphones, we could see that many sellers claim that their heaphones have noice reduction function, and this is the selling point of almost all headphones. With or without ANC function is also become the watershed in prices.

1. Passive noise reduction

Passive noise reduction is simply cover your ears with over-ear earcups. By using over-ear earcups the case sealed around your ear area. Most closed-back style headphones are capable of reducing background noise to acceptable level.

2. Active noise canceling

ANC headphones are step further on the noise reduction issue by using DSP to increase the affectiveness. They use internal microphones and audio process listen to the noises around you and play a polarity inverted version of the noises back to you, in this way they will cancel each out, so that you would only listen to the music you like.

How to choose a good headphones? Of course we all want the best function one with the longest battery life, completely noise canceling function, fast charging speed. But you also need to consider about your budget, if you don’t have enough budget, passive noise reduction headphones is worth trying.
